• Summer 2015

I am so happy to join the Merseles Studios community of artists in downtown Jersey City. "Roadtripping ~ Bryce Canyon," and "Roadtripping ~ Yellowstone," are included in the Merseles Studios Hallway Gallery exhibition, curated by Gabriel Pacheco, at 339 Newark Avenue, Jersey City, NJ.

Also psyched to be nominated for the Rema Hort Mann Foundation Visual Arts Grant again for 2015!

    History of the venue:
The Majestic Theatre was built in 1907, and its restoration was recognized by Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy in 2005. The lobby, which serves as its exhibition space, is an example of early twentieth-century Beaux Art neoclassical design. Back in the day, Mae West performed here. And in 1915, the theatre screened D.W. Griffith's Birth of a Nation.

Exhibition on view in the lobby from November 6, 2014 to February 28, 2015.
